B. acerifolius x B. populneus
A small to medium native tree with a conical form, bears large panicles of pink/red flowers from November to January. Its flowers and leaves are more similar to B. populneus than B. acerifolius. Spectacular when flowing and as the tree is grafted, it will flower every year with the intensity of flowering increasing as it matures. A showy, versatile tree which is hardy, frost and drought resistant.
