SYZYGIUM tierneyanum
(River Cherry or Bamaga Satinash)
A medium native rainforest tree with a dense spreading crown
and glossy green foliage with flushes of red and bronze new
growth. It bears profuse cream flowers in summer and attracts
birds and butterflies. The bunches of pinkish red fruit are
edible.
